Why did I get an emergency alert?

Emergency alerts will be sent to users within an affected area. 

Depending on the organisation who sent the alert, the responses available will be different.

Generally if a ‘Call for help’ option is available it will pre load your phone dialler with an emergency number for the local area to enable you to call the appropriate authority as soon as you are able.

An ‘I’m safe’ option will submit a post on your behalf to your friends feed..
